Do you need a rental car?
Many guests staying in Akumal Bay or Half Moon Bay do not need a car during their stay. Walking, bikes, and golf carts are often enough for beaches, restaurants, snorkeling, and coffee runs.
A rental car is more useful if you want to visit cenotes, Tulum ruins, Playa del Carmen, eco parks, or plan multiple day trips.
